Solutions By Text (March 2022–Now)

Soultions By Text (SBT) provides text messaging services to companies, particularly in the consumer finance business. Our differentiation is in compliance—making certain our customers operate within government regulations and industry standards.

We have a full-service mass texting platform, with three methods of access:

Application Programming Interface

Our APIs provide a full spectrum of texting operations, from the messaging itself, to reports on performance, to webhooks for hands-off monitoring.

The vast majority of our API documentation is on the Redoc platform. I learned how to use Markdown to improve the text, and how to format the JSON file to make it readable.

We have two Redocs, one for our main texting platform, and another for our Payments platform. They’re a little thin on examples at the moment; I am working on a project to greatly expand the Examples content. However, our Engineering team controls the repository, and they can be a tad slow on pushing updates.

  • SBT Fintext Platform APIs (Production): The main Redoc.
  • SBT Fintext Platform APIs (Staging): The working version, but publicly available.
  • SBT Payments APIs: For our Payments platform. Still a work in progress.
  • Updated JSON File: The linked .ZIP file has the most recent version of the Redoc code I branched to the repository on July 18, 2024. This branch has not yet been pushed to Staging or Production by our Engineering group. It can be opened in VS Code using the built-in Redoc viewer. Images will not appear, but the text and formatting are correct. Compare it to the Production and Staging versions above.

File Processing Automation

The SBT FPA system allows customers to create and upload .CSV files, which the platform then processes on a schedule. This option is very useful for smaller companies which cannot commit the resources implement our API.

The following files are PDFs of some of the more interesting FPA HubSpot KB pages.

User Interface

Or web-based UI allows customers to see and use metrics, control access, messge their customers, and more. The bulk of out KB articles deal with the UI.

The following files are PDFs of some of the more interesting UI HubSpot KB pages. All three deal with our UI’s Dashboard reporting system.

Hempel/Neogard Work (November 2014–March 2022)

The Neogard website has changed little, if at all, since I left the company. I built the pages and created the content for most of the pages on the site, and it still provides a good look at my content management and writing skills.

I wrote the vast majority of the content on the site. The design and apps on the site were developed by our design and hosting partners, but it was up to me to make it all work, read, and look right.
